About Hoko River Mouth Retreat

Come and relax in this beautiful, fun and friendly environment. Along the Hoko river and bordering the strait of Juan de Fuca, watch bald eagles hunt for Salmon, fish the rivers, and watch for whales passing by.

Special Features

Outdoor Kitchen

The Camp Kitchen is located under a canopy in case of bad weather. Stocked with cookware, there are two propane stoves, an electric coffee pot, and hot water pot.

Campfires

A covered fire pit with cooking grates is available or build your own out on the beach!

Outhouses & Showers

Two outhouses are on the property, and one hot shower. The shower is located behind the kitchen area and includes fresh, clean towels.

Free Wireless Internet

We don't get the fastest wifi out here, but you can still stay connected to email or facebook. The wifi is not suitable for video streaming services.

Parking Nearby

The parking lot can accommodate 10 vehicles. No trailers or RVs allowed - road is too steep to get out. Carts are available to move your gear to the beach.

Row Boats

Several row boats are available for adventures up-river! Life jackets available and required.

Beach Camping

The beach is all yours, so pitch that tent where ever you please! Bunk houses are available if you prefer an indoor sleeping experience. Tent camping can be a great activity for families, but it’s also an ideal way for couples and friends to spend quality time together.
